When practicing using VDMX I came across a video of a hand waving which has inspired me to create my project around the themes of either touch and/or simply body movement. By using videos of textures or movements humans are very familiar with they will already know what those types of touch, movement, or textures feel like which I think will add an interesting component to the exhibit. Art is most impactful when it relates to its audience or more so that the audience finds a way to relate to it. I had a clearer idea of what I wanted my project to encompass before realizing how much mapping my video will alter how my project is perceived. I am very curious and excited to see how mapping my project will impact the final design and presentation.
